History of the school
It´s the oldest school in Lakatamia. I was built in 1930 by the English colonial government and until 1936 it was used as a school for boys. In 1936 it was transformed to a mixed school (boys and girls) with a total of 144 students. From 1898 until 1932 children were taught in rooms located outside Lakatamia´s churches. The school´s architectural rythm is ancient greek with four columns on the front side of the school. It is one of the oldest well preserved buildings in Lakatamia a real jewel for the whole area
